KrisFlyer Miles Earning Terms

  1. KrisFlyer miles are earned at a rate of 2 KrisFlyer miles per USD 1 spent on cruise fare only when booked through this designated site: krisflyercruise.com or via the KrisFlyer Cruise website enquiry form, email, phone or chat.
  2. Port expenses, government taxes, gratuities, onboard spending, and shore excursions are not eligible for earning KrisFlyer miles.
  3. A valid KrisFlyer membership number must be provided at the time of booking, and the first/given name and last/family name in the KrisFlyer account must match the lead guest travelling for KrisFlyer miles to be credited.
  4. Pooling of KrisFlyer miles is strictly prohibited. The KrisFlyer membership number provided must belong to the lead guest. If the KrisFlyer membership number provided is found to belong to a third party, and not the lead guest, the miles earned will be reversed automatically.
  5. Only one KrisFlyer member per cabin is eligible to earn KrisFlyer miles.
  6. KrisFlyer miles will be credited to your account within approximately 4 weeks after the successful completion of the cruise.
  7. This offer cannot be combined with any other promotions.
  8. The krisflyercruise.com site is operated solely by Our Vacation Centre Pty Ltd (OVC). ABN: 54 105 542 176. Travel licence No. 3008099 ("KrisFlyer Cruise"), and all bookings made via the krisflyercruise.com site are made with KrisFlyer Cruise only.
  9. Singapore Airlines ("SIA") shall not be liable in connection with your use of the site or any bookings made with KrisFlyer Cruise, including without limitation for any loss, damage, or delay in connection with the award of KrisFlyer miles.

  12. If you fail to comply with any of these terms and conditions, you may not be awarded any KrisFlyer miles and SIA and KrisFlyer Cruise each reserve the right to reverse the award of any KrisFlyer miles previously awarded and/or recover the value of the same from you.
  13. Any decisions made by SIA and/or KrisFlyer Cruise in connection with any matter relating to KrisFlyer Cruise shall be final and binding as between you and SIA or KrisFlyer Cruise (as the case may be).
  14. The KrisFlyer Terms and Conditions shall apply. The personal data that you provide or make available to SIA (including without limitation your name and KrisFlyer membership number) may be collected, used, disclosed, or otherwise processed by SIA. All collection, use, disclosure, and processing of personal data by SIA will be in accordance with SIA's Privacy Policy available online at https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/privacy-policy/ .
  15. KrisFlyer Cruise will handle your personal information in accordance with its privacy policy.
  16. KrisFlyer Cruise and Singapore Airlines reserve the right to change or withdraw this offer at any time, at their sole and absolute discretion, with or without notice to you.
  17. A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 of Singapore to enforce any of these terms and conditions. 
  18. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. The Singapore courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions.

KrisFlyer Miles Redemption Terms & Conditions

Eligibility & General Terms

  1. KrisFlyer members can redeem their KrisFlyer miles towards cruise bookings through KrisFlyer Cruise.
  2. KrisFlyer miles redemption is subject to availability and applicable terms of the cruise provider.
  3. To redeem KrisFlyer miles for a cruise booking through KrisFlyer Cruise, the KrisFlyer member must be successfully authenticated.
  4. Once KrisFlyer miles are redeemed, they are non-refundable and non-transferable, except as outlined in the cancellation policy.
  5. Redemption of KrisFlyer miles towards cruise bookings does not earn additional KrisFlyer miles.
  6. The minimum redemption amount is 1,000 KrisFlyer miles per transaction.
  7. KrisFlyer miles can only be redeemed by the primary holder of the KrisFlyer account holder.
  8. Please ensure you have entered the correct names when booking, as per your KrisFlyer account.
  9. Members are not allowed to use their KrisFlyer miles to make a booking for a third party; however, members may make unlimited bookings under their own name, provided the KrisFlyer member is present on the cruise and the lead passenger on the first cabin.
  10. KrisFlyer miles cannot be combined with any other loyalty programs for redemption purposes.
  11. Cruise bookings made with KrisFlyer miles are not eligible for promotions, discounts, or additional loyalty earnings unless specified.

Bookings, Payment & Redemption Structure

  1. Members can use KrisFlyer miles to cover part or all of the cruise fare, excluding port expenses, government taxes, gratuities, onboard spending, and shore excursions.
  2. Port expenses, government taxes, gratuities, onboard spending, and shore excursions are not eligible for redeeming KrisFlyer miles and must be paid in cash at the time of booking.
  3. The total elected KrisFlyer miles shall be deducted in a single transaction at the time of booking, coinciding with the deposit due date.
  4. KrisFlyer miles will first be applied to cover the deposit amount.
  5. If the member does not have sufficient KrisFlyer miles to cover the deposit, the remaining balance must be paid in cash.
  6. Port expenses, government taxes, gratuities, onboard spending, and shore excursions are separate from the deposit amount and must be paid in cash regardless of KrisFlyer miles redeemed.
  7. If KrisFlyer miles are insufficient to cover the full cruise fare, the remaining balance must be paid in cash by the final payment deadline.
  8. You can indicate the total number of KrisFlyer miles you would like to redeem on the booking checkout page or through the KrisFlyer Cruise agent, and any remaining payment will be adjusted. Upon booking, KrisFlyer Cruise will verify your eligible KrisFlyer miles balance and redeem the applicable KrisFlyer miles from your account.
  9. Once KrisFlyer miles have been redeemed successfully and the booking has been created, the payment method cannot be changed.
  10. Bookings made with KrisFlyer miles are subject to the terms and conditions of the cruise provider, including cancellation policies.

Modifications, Cancellations & Refunds

  1. Any modifications or cancellations may result in additional fees, which must be paid in cash.
  2. A cancellation fee of USD 50 per person shall apply to any cruise booking cancelled by the KrisFlyer member. This fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from any applicable refund or charged separately in cash if no refund is due.
  3. If your booking, which was paid with KrisFlyer miles, was confirmed but later cancelled, and it falls within the cancellation period of the cruise provider and qualifies for a refund, the applicable KrisFlyer miles will be refunded into your KrisFlyer account.
  4. Booking cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions of the booking and the cruise provider. Please allow up to 12 weeks for the refund of KrisFlyer miles, if applicable.
  5. For any cancellation of a booking containing KrisFlyer miles and cash, members will be refunded in the same proportion as the KrisFlyer miles and cash used for payment. For example, if a KrisFlyer member made a booking with 70% KrisFlyer miles and 30% cash, the refund will be processed as 70% KrisFlyer miles and 30% cash.
  6. For refunded KrisFlyer miles, the validity will remain unchanged and follow the original expiry date.
  7. For partial refunds, where a cancellation penalty is imposed by the cruise line under the applicable cancellation schedule:
    1. Applicable KrisFlyer miles will be credited to the member’s account with KrisFlyer Cruise for future use.
    2. For partial cash refunds, the amount due from the cruise line (less a cancellation fee of USD 50 per person) will be credited to the member’s KrisFlyer Cruise account for future use.
  8. It is the sole discretion of Singapore Airlines to determine the expiration date of the KrisFlyer miles.

Additional Terms

  1. By redeeming KrisFlyer miles for a cruise, members agree to these terms and any additional terms imposed by the cruise provider.
